Individual Financial Therapy

Despite being intelligent, accomplished and competent in other areas of your life, you can’t seem to get a handle on your money issues.

You feel discouraged because your spending habits are keeping you from achieving your life goals of changing careers, traveling or buying a home.

You spend money on stuff to make yourself feel better in the moment.

You feel overwhelmed, discouraged, and hopeless when thinking about your debt and secretly wish someone would come along and take care of it for you.

You feel ashamed because you think you should be better with money.

You compare your financial situation to other people your age, or at least your perception of their financial situation, and feel like you don’t measure up.

You feel nervous about the idea of sharing your finances and feelings about money with anyone. You are worried I will judge you and make you feel worse

Money shame runs deep! It makes you believe you aren’t good enough because of your salary, spending habits, amount in savings, etc.

Of course, you do! Most people were taught not to talk about money and believe if you aren’t “good with money” that it’s your own fault. It takes a lot of courage to be open about your money stuff.

Your stress and anxiety around money gets in the way of the life you want to lead. You feel like you are failing. Your confidence in your ability to take care of yourself and your family financially is at an all-time low.

What if you had a safe and supportive space to talk about your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs about money without being judged? I will sit with you as you face the reality of your financial situation.

What if you had help unpacking the ways in which your family, friends, culture, etc. have contributed to the story you tell yourself about money and identify ways in which this story is playing out in your adult life?

What if you had individualized help developing ways of relating to money that worked best for you, not a one-size-fits-all approach that only focuses on the numbers?

You deserve to relate to your money with ease and confidence.

A relationship with money that enables you to achieve your financial goals and take care of the people you love is not out of your reach.

If you want to feel good about your relationship with money, I’d love to help you get there.
